Bank of Ireland 365 offers customers convenience of doing their day-to-day banking 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by phone or online. They can bank on a time and place that suits you. It is easy to use, fast and very convenient at 365 banking online, where you have your internet bank. So day and night you can access your accounts from anywhere in the world. You can manage your account any time, day or night, at home, at work, or even when abroad.
The first page gives you several options http://www.365online.com. You get several links to other parts of the Bank of Ireland as an online search site, ATM locator and some special offers for loans or savings. You also get a trial of the online banking service, how to register for online banking, and a login link.
The login page is basic and is really only the bits for your login information that normally would contain your username, some digits of your PIN and a further piece of personal information that you provided during your first call.
If you want more details about each of your account, you simply click on the account name (which is a link) and you are taken to a page with even more boring details of the transaction on your account etc..
The pallor of the site is not a problem (at least not for me) because the site is very fast on most occasions and this is very useful given that one of the security means that if you login to online banking, if you inactive for 5 minutes you are automatically logged out again.
Options available to your bank accounts include things such as searching for checks, customize your statements, review the standing orders, etc.
From the main Accounts screen allows you to pay your credit card bills (if Bank of Ireland credit cards), transfer money between accounts and even money into other UK bank accounts (although this latter option, you must make arrangements with Bank prior Ireland) . Even in peak times Internet (6 – 8pm) the site loads quickly and the information is displayed clearly and without fuss.
There are several points clearly marked in several places on the site telephone numbers, e-mail addresses include if you ever in trouble. As a further safety measures, not BoI not send customer or account information via the Internet.
I think online banking – it saves me a lot of time and effort just to keep all my data view from the comfort of my own home. The added bonus to be paid (or maybe that should be “with the option to pay”) of my credit card account is a bonus. If you are a Bank of Ireland customer, I warmly recommend.
